Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated was founded on January 16, 1920, at Howard University by five visionary women whose shared commitment to Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood established the foundation of our beloved sisterhood.

Known as the Five Pearls, our Founders envisioned more than a sorority—they created a lifelong movement dedicated to leadership, academic excellence, community service, and uplifting others. Their vision continues to inspire Zeta women around the world and guides the work of the Epsilon Eta Zeta Chapter as we serve our community with purpose and excellence.
